Hi Everyone!
We've received so many emails, wondering what happened to The Blog and if everything was ok with us!
All is fine and we are now ready to have The Blog up and running!
So, let me catch each of you up to date.....
The last post to this Blog was on May 9th, 2009.
We had taken our fantastic 2009 Adventure to Turkey, Greece and Bulgaria and just returned home the day before.
While in Turkey, just 4 days into our trip I began showing signs of food poisoning. It proceeded to get worse as we continued traveling. I will be writing up a full page on the experience. It went past the simple solution of popping a couple imodium. I was unable to retain water in my body and it took almost a month to fully recover after returning home!!!! John was incredibly supportive and along the way our barometer was reset of what our REAL needs were in life.
When John and I were overseas, my mom's travel bug began biting (I don't think it ever really stops) and she booked a fabulous cruise onboard the Pacific Princess, a 14 day Alaska cruise. My mom and I left on June 9th and returned June 25th. It was an incredible cruise..we loved being onboard the Pacific Princess once again, we saw a bear and whales, and just enjoyed the quality time together. A little bonus was we enjoyed meeting several fellow cruisers from our CruiseCritic.com roll call!
As you can imagine, upon returning my inbox was overflowing!
I had now really been out of the loop for 2.5 months!!!!
This has been the 1st time I've had a chance to really give our website the attention it deserves.
