                            Organizing 

Now that you have quite a bit of information from all your planning,

It's time to organize it!


 

We use accordion folders, that can be found in a variety of colors and textures
at any office supply store, Target and our personal favorite..The Container Store.
It is light weight, yet made of heavy duty plastic
and very streamlined
once closed and secured.

Label the tabs, by country, city, port of call, transportation, & general info
whatever makes sense to you!

In our file system, we include photocopies from research books, maps, hotel confirmations, train schedules printed from Die Bahn, ferry schedules, and our e-tickets.

There's also photocopies of our passports, immunization records, prescriptions, allergies, emergency contact information, credit card phone numbers, and phone cards, embassy
and AMEX locations.

We carry this in our carry-on and put critical information in our money belt or pack
when out during the day.

As we leave each town, we ask the front desk or TI if they would like our information
for future English speaking travelers who need assistance!

Another feature we love about this,
it protects small items that you want to bring back intact!

You will invariably collect ticket stubs, maps, pamphlets, business cards, scraps of paper with emails or phone numbers.

You will never search for them again!
