A couple of notes from this trip...

We were planning on flying home from Ljubljana, but at that time the price was exorbitant.

It was actually less expensive to hire a driver to take us from Piran to Venice
and spend 3 nights in Venice and fly home from Venice...strange, but true!

The driver we hired was done through Kompass Travel based in Slovenia, the service and price were excellent.  Logistically, to leave Piran in off season and on our own, required a bus, 2 trains and the day would of been over 12 hours long.

Cesky Krumlov is still one of our Top 10 places in Europe that we have visited!

Olomouc was the ultimate in authentic experiences... so many stories to tell!
Only 4 people that we interactedwith in 3 days spoke English and one of them was actually
a British gentleman who had relocated there!
