Hiring a Private Driver in Croatia

We have returned from our journey...

I would like to let you know that the service we received was stellar! The communication prior to arrival in Dubrovnik was always promptly responded to and my questions were always answered thoroughly! Since we were staying at Hotel Uvala in the Lapad Bay area of Dubrovnik, it was less expensive to hire them to transfer us to our hotel from the Dubrovnik Airport than the Croatia Airlines transfer bus and then to a city bus transfer! The cost was 30 euro for both of us. Our meeting time for our Mostar day was confirmed and our driver was there early. Please remeber he is not a guide, BUT he shared with us a wealth of information. It was easy to communicate with him as his English is excellent! The following day was our Montenegro trip and once again he was early! What was wonderuful as we set the pace of our day. When we wanted to pull over for photos...no problem! Extra time in an area...no problem...on the way back to our hotel both evenings, we asked to stop at the grocery store for picnic supplies...no problem!!! We feel very confident that you will receive the same service! They accept Kunas, Euros and credit cards.

Mostar

 Price for private tour to Mostar for 2 persons will be: 200 Euros.

 Price includes: private transfers to and from Mostar, private English

 speaking driver and A/C private vehicle. Price do not include entrance fees and lunch.

 Description of the tour:

 Your private English speaking driver will pick You at arranged meeting time on arranged meeting point 

according to Your accommodation place) and take You forward to the border with Bosnia 

and Herzegovina along the main Adriatic road from where You will have a splendid view to the 

three Elaphite islands (also called the Deer islands (they look like running deers).

After You pass the border You will be able to pass through the part  of 10 kilometers of Bosnian country 

which split Croatia country in two  parts - called Neum. After Neum You will be driven forward through 

delta of river Neretva - beautiful part with great views on rich agriculture part filled with  all kind of fruits, 

especially citrus fruits, melons and any kind of  vegetables. Your driver will stop the car for You to 

have some time for taking  the pictures and some explanations about this specific part. 

After the break, Your private driver will take You further on to the inland of Herzegovina to the 

beautiful Mostar (It needs about 2,5 hours from Dubrovnik).

In Mostar You will have opportunity to have experience of complete different world – 

You will meet the place where East meet West - place of different religions and rich historical 

heritage - it's beautiful world famous bridge which was ruined during the war and now reconstructed.

 In Mostar there is also: a Turkish house (house - museum made and left in traditional 

and specific Turkish architecture, with its oriental ornaments and things in the house) - 

this house is a evidence of Turkish influence and ascendant), many mosques, typical middle age 

bazaar and other historical beauties.> Mostar actually got it's name after its bridge because in

 our language word MOST(ar) means BRIDGE. 

Also You will have enough time for strolling around, browsing among many old craft shops 

or having lunch in one of the picturesque local restaurants typical domestic and tasty food. 

After the beauty of this specific and world famous place, 

Your driver will take You back to Dubrovnik passing through other little villages 

like it is POÄITELJ, a little, cozy village placed in a part of a mountain by the main road 

and filled with a lot of typical Turkish architecture, including little mosques, old houses made 

of old materials and little children offering You domestic fruits like citrus fruits, dates, 

walnuts and almonds. Leaving PoÄitelj, You will finally go back to Dubrovnik passing 

again through the Neum, our beautiful Adriatic road and its little Dalmatian villages with panoramas

 to the islands and sea.

Montenegro

Price for private tour to Montenegro for 2 persons will be: 220 Euros. Price includes: 

private transfers to and from Montenegro, private  English speaking driver and A/C private vehicle.

 Price do not include entrance fees, tickets for boat and lunch.

Description of the tour:

 Your private English speaking driver will pick You at arranged

 meeting time on arranged meeting point (according to Your accommodation place) 

and take You forward through Zupa Dubrovacka and Konavle valley all the way up to the border 

with Montenegro (cca 1 hour) along the curving roadway through the towns of Risan and Perast 

to Kotor. With this tour You will see the three different landscapes of Montenegro: 

its bay, mountain and sea... There are very few places to compared with natural beauties 

of the Bay of Kotor, actually it is a fiord, so it is very often compared to the Norwegian fiord's. 

 Continuing along this beautiful gulf coast, due to Your wish, you shall visit a small town 

called Perast and than take a small boat to reach the islet in front the town, 

called ''Gospa od Skrpjela'' (Our Lady of Stone). Next one on the list of pearls is Kotor, 

a town well known for its rich history, nautical tradition and the famous merchant navy of Boka

 Kotorska. Here You also will have your free time to explore it by Yourself.

 After Your free time Your private driver will take You on a mountain called Njegusi 

with a height of 900 meters, with a view that You will never forget - an unforgettable view 

of the whole bay and its beautiful area. After Panorama stop You will continue back to Dubrovnik, 

but this time from the other part of the bay. On the last point of the bay Your private driver 

will take a ferry to get You across (cca 8 minutes) on the first part of the bay

 (part from where tour actually began) continuing forward first to the border with Croatia

and then back to Dubrovnik.

Korcula

we arrange You a transfer to Korcula across the peninsula Peljesac. This transfer with its starting 

points and hours can be arranged according to Your wishes, so You can go and come to

Korcula even early in the morning. With the private transfer You will need about 2,5 hours including 

crossing on from the town of OrebiÄ (place from where the ferry goes) to the village called

 Domince on the island of Korcula and transfer from Domince to historical center of town of Korcula.
